Seoul - Day 2

Day 2 started off with breakfast at the famous bakery, Paris Baguette.
A lovely place with a wide selection of breads & cakes. Below is what I had, a bread with cream stuffing & 5 full strawberries topped with white sugar powder. Sweet but if you eat it with the strawberries, it was actually not too bad! And I like the minimal black & white packaging of their milk, NICE.

Next destination, Samcheong-dong, a place that is infested with art galleries, shops, cafes & restaurants. Took the photo below wondering "What does the diamond shape on roads mean?"

This was the small path we took to Samcheong-dong. We took some time figuring out how to walk there & eventually decide to follow our intuition & of course the walking crowd.

Was told by my friend to snap a photo of this Starbucks because this was the only Starbucks we saw bearing the sign in korean.

The place was like narrow streets with shops & cafes running along the sides.

Next was lunch. I ordered this Seaweed & Abalone Ramen in a popular korean restaurant & it was all GREEN! I don't have the photo for the abalones but it had like 3 nugget-sized ones. This bowl of algae had a very refreshing taste! It tasted like the OCEAN, I swear!!

Did not managed to get anything from Samcheong-dong and we're off to the N Seoul Tower. Looking at the tower from below the hill, we took quite a long walk & climb from the train station to the cable car station.

Long Q at the cable car station. Family & couples.

This was quite a shaky ride but the cables do hold the car well.

More climbing, I've developed strong legs.

Look at this cute couple photo-taking.

 The legendary Tower.

Ok enough of the tower but frankly that's what we were there for!
Street performance going on. Typical magic show.

The place where couples lock their loves on. My camera was low on battery-life at this point =(

All the locks of couples were inter-locking!! No wonder there were affairs going on!!

Used my friend's camera when I got up the tower so I don't have any photos from above! Anyway after the tiring tower climb, we went to Dongdaemun for dinner and some shopping. We stopped by this river or stream place where a small crowd gathered. There was a mini stage with people singing, my friend told me this was something like a place for them to showcase their talent & prepare them for singing contests etc. One guy performing had really POWERFUL vocals!!

Low batt equals few photos and I shall end it with our nice DINNER =)
