The name is TOMS

I've been telling my friends a couple of months ago about this pair of RED shoes I saw on many people when I'm on the streets on different days. Have I been missing out on a good catch or what?

I finally found the brand, it's TOMS

I came across this when I was randomly surfing the net & they have a website. I found out later that there is actually a heart-warming story behind those nice shoes.

the TOMS story:

"In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

As of September 2010, TOMS has given over one million pairs of new shoes to children in need through Giving Partners around the world"

It's a good double deal because you get to have nice shoes & at the same time help contribute to the needy at zero extra costs! (*you only pay for the shoes, TOMS will do the rest)

I seriously want that pair of RED canvas. Will go check it out in store soon. Hope I'm they are still in stock!
